Intercessory Prayer Groups
In response to the call in scripture to pray without ceasing and to bring all kinds of prayers and requests before the Lord, Midchurch is blessed with three intercessory prayer groups. Two are daily prayer groups, the one using emails to share prayer requests and the other using WhatsApp to offer prayers.
We also have a team who pray every Sunday morning at 07h00 in Ministry House for the day’s worship services and all who will be participating.
Prayer requests can be placed on the prayer cross on Sunday mornings after worship or sent via email: prayer@midchurch.co.za
Pray with an Elder
After each worship service there is an opportunity to be prayed for. By remaining seated, an Elder will join you and pray with you.
Prayer Cross
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11 28-30
The Prayer Cross is available on Sundays after worship. Write your prayer request on the paper provided and place it on the cross. Your request will be prayed for in the coming week by our two daily intercessory prayer groups Anonymous prayer requests are welcome too. You are also welcome to email your prayer requests to prayer@midchurch.co.za
For the 10 days between Ascension Day and Pentecost Sunday each year, the Upper Room in Ministry House is transformed into The Boiler Room. People are encouraged to sign up to spend an hour in the room in prayer. The room offers 6 different interactive themed prayer stations that help focus the persons prayers.
